AniDrop ("we", "our", or "us") is an anime and manga release tracker developed by cosmiklore. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the AniDrop mobile application. By using AniDrop, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the AniDrop service:
- Account Information: Email address and display name provided at registration.
- Profile Data: Username and optional avatar you choose within the app.
- Usage Data: The anime and manga titles you follow and your notification preferences.
- Device Data: Push notification token used to deliver release alerts to your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Create and manage your AniDrop account.
- Send push notifications for new episode and chapter releases of titles you follow.
- Personalise your in-app experience based on your followed titles.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues in the app.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage
Your account data and preferences are stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored in accordance with their security standards. Push notification tokens are stored only for the purpose of delivering alerts and are deleted when you disable notifications or delete your account.
4. Third-Party Services
AniDrop uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Expo / Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at epoch.feedback@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
AniDrop is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data via the Edit Profile screen in the app.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Opt out of push notifications at any time via app or device settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of AniDrop after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
